Vale Luke Spalding

It comes with great sadness to announce that Luke Spalding has lost his fight with cancer today. Luke joined the Queensland Superkart Club Inc at the age of 15 only a few years ago in a 125cc Gearbox Superkart after just getting over the fight with Cancer the first time. He was a fast and clean driver and other competitors had nothing but praise for him. It was easy to tell early on that he was a talented driver.

What made Luke’s story so interesting is his selflessness and generosity to others, despite his own battles, and this is a inspiration to us all. He also has a "sticker campaign" to raise money to buy kids in Hospital with Cancer ipads for this Christmas. Please support if you can.

The Queensland Superkart Club Inc extends its thoughts and condolences to Spalding’s family and friends. Will be sadly missed.

A service to celebrate his life will take place on Friday, September 23 at 11am at the Cleveland Baptist Church Auditorium, 240 Bloomfield St, Cleveland where members of the public are invited to attend and are being encouraged to wear race team shirts.
