Was quality over quantity today at Lakeside Park with only 3 250 nationals on track. But that didn't stop the action being red hot there was nothing between them all day. Dan Lewis got to the front early in race 1 and 2 while Tim Weier and Gareth Crisp were chasing close behind. Race 3 Gareth Crisp wound up the Team AGL ADE/ Gas Gas and turned a 53.9 second lap in race 3 which he won which is very close to Dan Lewis' lap record set some time ago. Not bad considering half the track was under water a few days ago.

Over the Christmas New Years break, Morgan Park Raceway http://morganparkraceway.com.au/ was being transformed with a total resurface of the race track. Racing has been suspended for a couple of months to let the surface cure. A flat smooth Morgan Park is a great Superkart track. Look forward to going back there in the near future.
Attached are some great videos from Le Mans France in 1984. Racing is on the Circuit Bugatti which is the permanent road racing course which turns right after going under the Dunlop Bridge. Unlike the 24 Hours of Le Mans Sports Car endurance race which is on Circuit de la Sarthe which goes straight ahead down to the public roads.
